Frequently Asked Questions

  • WHY SHOULD I BUY FROM YOU?

We understand what it takes to release an album or an EP. By offering affordable prices, that gives you more money for studio time, mixing, artwork, distribution costs, etc. Not only that, but you also gain a ally to help market/promote your song(s) so that you can increase your overall revenue.

Will I receive the song INFORMATION (BPM, Song key)?

Yes, that information will be sent along with the stems.

What does 'Exclusive' Mean?

'Exclusive' mean that you are the only artist with the beat. It has not been sold to anyone else, used commercially or in any free usage way.

  • WHAT DOES "TYPE BEAT" MEAN?

This mean that a particular artist's rapping/singing style would be great for that song. It doesn't mean you have to sound like them, but simply an idea of how to approach the song.

  • DO I HAVE TO USE THE SONG IDEA DESCRIPTION?

No. The description is to spark creativity for the song.

  •  DO I HAVE TO USE THE NAME OF THE BEAT?

No. You can change the name as you see fit. The released version of the song must credit 94 West as the producer of the song.

what is the return policy on exclusive purchases?

30 days money back with receipt. Funds may take 3-5 business days to arrive in your account.

what kind of contract would I be signing?

It's a 'Work for Hire', meaning you're only paying me for this job. You would keep the song rights, and I would receive 3% (Three percent) of the Mechanical and Digital Recording Performance royalties. (For independent artists only.) If you are signed to a label (small or major), you must email me.

how do I receive the stem files?

Send a copy of your receipt to info@94westmusic.com. Be sure to use the same email you purchased the beat with. If after 30 days of no response, stem files will be sent automatically. Please allow up to 24-72 hours for response.

Do any of the beats contain samples?

No. All beats in the 'Exclusive' category are sample free.

Can I add drops, filter sweeps or other effects to the beat I purchased?

Absolutely!

Can I use purchased beats for outside of musical composition?

Of course. I've made music for various videos and some YouTube content. I'm here to bring your ideas to life with dope music.
